Why does handmade soap melt faster than regular soap?

Handcrafted soap is missing the artificial hardeners and preservatives found in commercial soap. Our soap requires a little extra care, but your skin will happy you took the time. Store it in a well drained soap dish between showers, keep it out of the stream of water during your shower and if it is soft when you get it home, let it sit to air dry for a few days before using it.
